Tuesday Park Fitness
Weekly Event - Every Tuesday: 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM (EDT)
Open to moms with toddlers and/or baby, this unique class was created in response to the need for moms with little ones who are no longer content hanging out in the stroller to also get a great workout. We typically exercise in one are in the Long Meadow so that crawling/cruising/walking babies and toddlers can move about instead of being confined to a stroller. Children are incorporated into the workout -- to the extent that they wish to be -- by running and jumping alongside mommy. I also sometime bring props including bubbles, parachute, chalk, etc to entertain the kids. Do not be misled though -- you will get a killer workout (yes, while your little one also has a fun time).
We meet 5 minutes before start time at the entrance to Grand Army Plaza.
Its recommended to bring:
- blanket for little one
- snacks/toys for little ones
- water bottle for mommy
